Ceilidh gives taste of all things Scottish

  • Secondary News

Year 8 students embraced the festive spirit at the annual Winter Ceilidh on Friday, 22 November. Despite a slight delay from the ceilidh band, the event was bursting with energy, laughter and fun from start to finish.

Students delighted in a range of activities, from karaoke performances that showcased their hidden talents to an exciting Irn Bru tasting, which added a uniquely Scottish touch to the night. To fuel the fun, a delicious chili, cakes and cookies kept everyone satisfied and ready to hit the dance floor.

The students enthusiastically participated in traditional ceilidh dancing, filling the room with joy and laughter as they twirled, skipped and spun their way through the lively tunes.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the event, including the band, staff and student volunteers who helped with refreshments. The Winter Ceilidh was a fantastic celebration of community, culture and fun, leaving everyone with warm memories to cherish heading into the holiday season.
