Find your way at Getting Settled Luxembourg
9 March 2026
Starting life in a new country can be both exciting and overwhelming. From understanding local systems to discovering social opportunities, many people learn important lessons the hard way.
Getting Settled Luxembourg on Saturday, 14 March 2026, aims to change that by offering practical guidance, face-to-face support and trusted advice, all under one roof.
Hosted by St George’s International School, Luxembourg in partnership with RTL Today, the event brings together the organisations, businesses, services and information that people need to find their way in the Grand Duchy.
Visitors can explore a range of exhibitors offering services and advice from industries including banking and finance, housing support, healthcare and insurance, creches and childcare, community organisations, social groups, sporting clubs and more. There will also be workshops, talks and Q&A sessions, giving visitors the tools to navigate day-to-day life with confidence.
St George’s Principal Zeba Clarke said Getting Settled aimed to make adjusting to life in Luxembourg easier for new arrivals and those in their first few years here. “Half of Luxembourg’s population was born in another country and in Luxembourg City, that figure is even higher at almost 75%. There is an enormous wealth of information and lived experience in our community and we wanted to share that with those who are still finding their way,” Mrs Clarke said.
The event runs from 11:00 to 16:00 in the Elsy Jacobs building at St George’s International School in Hamm. It is free to attend and open to everyone who is new to Luxembourg or looking to settle in more fully – whether they’ve arrived last week or within the past few years.
