Enrichment
Our comprehensive enrichment programmes are designed to inspire, challenge and nurture students, helping them develop essential life skills, confidence and a global perspective.
Through leadership opportunities, sports, co-curricular activities and community involvement, we help our students become well-rounded individuals prepared for the future.
Student Leadership
Leadership is a key pillar of our enrichment programme. Students have many opportunities to develop their leadership skills through the School Council in Primary and Student Parliament in Secondary, peer mentoring and ambassador roles, such as Eco-Agents and the Senior School Leadership Team. We encourage our students to take initiative, collaborate effectively, and develop a sense of responsibility and service to their school and community.
Sport
Sport and physical education are so important for our girls and boys at St George’s. Ensuring that all our students enjoy sports and have the opportunity to try a wide range of physical activities plays an integral role in our students' development, promoting teamwork, resilience and a healthy lifestyle. Our sports programme covers a variety of disciplines, such as football, basketball, swimming, rugby, volleyball and more. With state-of-the-art facilities and expert coaching, we nurture talent while developing a love of sport and healthy living in all our students.
Co-Curricular Activities
Our diverse co-curricular programme offers something for every student, whether their interests lie in the arts, technology, public speaking, or social engagement. From debating clubs and music ensembles to robotics, sport and sustainability, students can explore new passions, hone their skills and connect with like-minded peers.
Mérite Jeunesse (Duke of Edinburgh Award)
The internationally recognised Mérite Jeunesse programme challenges students to push their limits and develop essential life skills. Through outdoor expeditions, physical activities, skill-building and community service, students cultivate perseverance, independence and teamwork. St George's students are actively involved in Merite Jeunesse making us the largest awards centre in Luxembourg.
Community Involvement
We instill a strong sense of social responsibility in our students through meaningful community service initiatives. Collaborating with local and global organisations, students engage in volunteering, fundraising and sustainability projects that make a real impact. Whether supporting those experiencing tough times, participating in environmental initiatives, or leading charity events, our students learn the value of giving back and becoming responsible global citizens.
School Trips and Excursions
Our educational trips and excursions provide students with hands-on experiences that enrich their understanding of different cultures, history and the environment. From local field trips to international study tours, these experiences create lasting memories while reinforcing classroom learning in an engaging and dynamic way.
