Warm welcome for Dog Show entrants

The red carpet was rolled out on Monday, 15 June 2026, for St George's inaugural After-School Care Dog Show.

Ten well-behaved dogs visited for a fun-filled afternoon of canine competition and celebration of summer. Students enjoyed face painting, ice creams and interactive games, all centred around their love for dogs. The highlight was the much-anticipated dog show, where each furry friend had a chance to shine. The canine participants were judged in a friendly competition and awarded prizes in various categories.

In a surprising and memorable twist, the final participant in the show wasn’t a dog at all, but a student’s chicken! The unexpected guest captured everyone’s attention and even won a prize in the “Most Unique” category.
