What are NPQs?

Internationally recognised, National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) are UK Department for Education-accredited programmes designed to support teachers and school leaders at different stages of their careers. Whether you're leading teaching, developing others, managing behaviour or stepping into headship, NPQs offer evidence-based training to deepen your leadership practice.

What is The European Hub?

St George’s is a partner of the University College London (UCL) The European Hub, one of several regional hubs delivering NPQs in partnership with the University College London (UCL). The European Hub provides access to high-quality professional development from quality providers tailored to international school contexts, with online and in-person components designed to be flexible and relevant.

When do programmes start?

Most NPQ programmes begin in autumn 2025, with applications typically opening in spring/summer. Early registration is encouraged due to limited spaces and funding availability.
