Energy and attitude shine in rugby matches

  • Secondary News

St George's boys and girls rugby teams have been gaining experience and skills at exhibition matches and tournaments in Luxembourg and further afield.

The Under 16 girls defeated Rugby Club Luxembourg Girlz on 5 April in an exhibition match when Luxembourg's men's team took on Poland for a place in next season's Rugby Europe Trophy.

The girls' journey has been incredible, from touch rugby during PE lessons to playing in the Rosslyn Park 7s tournament in London and now playing at the national Stade de Luxembourg.

The team included Alia N, Berenice HS, Chloe VV, Enayah C, Lara F, Mia H, Sophie G (captain), Valentine P and Yael Marie B.
