Students meet real-life hero
- Primary News
This term, our Year 2 children have been exploring the theme of 'Heroes Who Shaped the World.' Throughout the term, we identified and learned about various historical figures, understanding why they are celebrated and the impact they have had on our world.
As we concluded our unit, we had the incredible opportunity to meet a real-life hero, Sean Carroll. Sean is not only a dedicated firefighter but also a talented rugby player for the Luxembourg national team. Our children were thrilled to have Sean visit and share his experiences.
During his visit, Sean answered many of our curious questions and even brought in his firefighting equipment to show us. The children were fascinated and inspired by his stories and the demonstration of his gear. It was a memorable experience for all, and we feel very fortunate to have met a true hero.
