Sixth Form attends breast cancer workshop
- Secondary News
Sixth Form students attended a workshop on breast cancer awareness, presented by Ms Cannon, Founder and Director of ThinkPinkLux, on 27 March.
Ms Cannon's presentation addressed important topics, including risk factors, signs and symptoms, and strategies for reducing risk, with an emphasis on the significance of screening, mammography and healthy lifestyle choices. Students were also introduced to a self-examination technique, participated in a myth vs. fact activity, and gained essential insights not only about breast cancer awareness but also about cancer more broadly.
Both staff and students in the Sixth Form found the workshop to be highly informative and engaging.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Ms Cannon for dedicating her time to raising awareness about this critical issue.
