Students wowed by visit to French city

Year 7 classes practised their French during a day trip to Nancy, France, on Wednesday, 12th June.
The gargoyles of the “Musée lorrain” greeted the students and their teachers with their funny looks as they walked through the cobbled streets of the old town.
The “Musée des Beaux-Arts”, a beautiful 18th-century building located on the “Place Stanislas”, disclosed its treasures, explaining through the artefacts the meaning of art and beauty, from the Renaissance to the 21st century with the work of urban artist Aleteïa.
Our traditional picnic in the blooming “Parc de la Pépinière” brought a happy end to the day. We all left with the promise to return soon.
