Kate receives Harvard Book Prize

St George's student Kate S has received the Harvard Book Prize for 2024, awarded by the Harvard Club of Luxembourg.

The award is given to an "outstanding student in their penultimate year of secondary school who displays general excellence and high character".

"It was a great honour for me to receive Harvard Book Award at the American Embassy. I was really touched by such a beautiful recognition of my hard work and achievements," Kate said.

"Getting to meet Harvard Alumni and talking to the Ambassador Thomas M Barrett and his wife was an incredible experience.The insightful lecture on education in the USA was equally truly inspiring.

"I would like to thank Dr Barkei for accompanying me to the ceremony. I am deeply grateful to the school for having confidence in me and nominating me for the Harvard Book Award."
