Students in Years 5 and 6 were introduced to CrossFit recently at the nearby Rising Waves CrossFit box. Coaches Tanja and Simon explained the principles of CrossFit and demonstrated key movements.
The highlight of the session was a CrossFit workout in which students teamed up in pairs for a 15-minute challenge and completed as many rounds as possible (AMRAP) of various CrossFit movements.
While one partner tackled the workout, the other rested and cheered them on, fostering teamwork and resilience. The students showed great enthusiasm and determination throughout this high-energy experience.
