Year 9 students have been studying Earth and space during their Science lessons. They created papier-mâché models of the planets in the Solar System, researched the distances from the Sun, and discovered interesting facts about each planet. The class went outside and presented their model Solar System. Students used a trundle wheel to represent the approximate distances between the planets (using the scale 1m = 60 million km).
