Year 8 students visited Ramborn Farm in Luxembourg on Tuesday 3^rd October. Ramborn is a b-corp, local apple farm set in Luxembourg with the aim of combating the climate crisis while supporting local economies and communities by protecting the natural environment in and around Luxembourg https://www.ramborn.com.

Students heard from Ramborn founders, about b-corporate companies, reducing food waste, protecting biodiversity and sustainable farming. Students then toured the farm to watch factory processes for making cider and juice. Later the students picked apples in the orchard, which they crushed to enjoy fresh apple juice for lunch. Finally, the students took on the weather and hiked through the hilltops observing and learning about wind turbines and solar energy.
