A Year 7 French class from St George's has been awarded a prize in a writing competition organised by Bayard Milan Belgium.

The students worked in small groups or individually to create a comic strip, which came 12th out of 1700 participants.

Representatives from the class attended an award ceremony at the Domaine de Chevetogne in Belgium on Sunday, 24^th April. The Head of the Editions Bayard-Milan announced the final results and presented the prizes, which included a magazine, J'aime lire Max, and a board game for the class as well as three books.

Despite the awful weather, the students also took the opportunity to walk in the park and play mini-golf.

The award demonstrates the fantastic achievement of the students and their outstanding work and engagement.
