Year 5 handled and dressed in authentic World War 2 military equipment during a visit to the National Museum of Military History in Diekirch on Friday, 9th June.

Supporting the students' humanities work on World War 2, they learned how some of the equipment was used in the battles around the Diekirch area and also discovered what life was like for the children of Luxembourg during the war.

With informative museum guides, the visit was an opportunity for the students  to use their history skills to investigate primary sources.
