Year 2 impress with 'The Lost Kitten'

11 December 2015

Year 2 sustained the festive spirit at St George’s with their beautiful rendition of ‘The lost Kitten’. The performance was set on a cold frosty Christmas Eve where the mother cat to her horror discovers she is missing a little kitten. The search for the kitten takes us outside where we meet squeaky mice, howling alley cats, spiky hedgehogs and quacking ducks. All the animals help mother cat search 'left and right' for her lost little kitten. Luckily all was happily resolved just in time for Christmas! The children sung songs beautifully from ‘oh where are you’, to ‘We’ve found you at last’ finishing with ‘We Wish you a Merry Christmas!’

Well done to all the students for their incredibly professional acting skills, a big thank you goes to the staff who spent many hours on rehearsals, costumes, artistic scenery, make-up and music.

We hope all the parents enjoyed the shows!

Merry Christmas from St George’s!
