Students in Year 13 delivered a sixth form assembly on The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to their peers as part of their PDV programme. They gave presentations on Industry, Sustainable Cities and Ocean Pollution. The focus was to raise awareness of how three of the 17 UN SDGs are directly affecting quality of life around the globe and how we, as citizens of the world, and of Luxembourg can do our bit, however small , to help achieve the targets set by the UN in relation to climate change. Following the presentations students broke into small groups to discuss environmental impact policies and to formulate suggestions as to how then school community can participate in working towards the SDG targets.
