Year 11 Celebrations at St George’s

St George’s International School, located in Hamm, Luxembourg, hosted the Year 11 Celebration in honour of the student achievements during the challenging year of IGCSE exams.
The event was held on Wednesday, 24th of May in the school's auditorium followed by a small banquet of food and photos on the school grounds.
The ceremony included speeches from the Head of Year 11, Camille Bloom, the Head of Secondary, Mark Fleet, and the Principal, Christian Barkei. The awards recognised the efforts and hard work that the Year 11 students put forth during their preparation for the exams and throughout the school year.
As a school we believe that it is of paramount importance to celebrate achievements of our community. The aim of the event was to make the celebration unforgettable for the students continuing their studies at St George’s and the ones leaving for new horizons.
The entire KS4 team will miss the Year 11 class, which will be welcomed to the Sixth Form.
