Year 1 kick off the Christmas spirit at St George's
10 December 2015
The Year 1 students kicked off the festive spirit today with the first lot of Christmas shows! The students excelled themselves in performing the ‘Scarecrow’s Christmas’. The christmas performance included yellow waddling ducks, sparkling silver fish, furry bears, Mrs Christmas, the elves and of course Santa! The imaginative play was about a cold lonely Scarecrow who needed and generously received warm coats from his furry friends to stop him from shivering in the freezing cold. Meanwhile, Mrs Christmas and the Elves accidentally shrank Santa’s outfit – but fear not it all ends well because Santa isn’t cross instead he conveys his generosity by giving his shrunken outfit to the cold shivering Scarecrow to keep him warm!
Well done and a big thank you goes to all the staff and students involved! The customs and makeup were fantastic and the parents looked like they thoroughly enjoyed themselves!
Merry Christmas Everyone!
