There was a fantastic response for World Wish Day all thoughout St George’s; the day marked the anniversary of the foundation where ‘wishes do come true’! The children dressed as superheroes and in blue and white to reflect the charity’s colours. Primary and Secondary students put on a wonderful cake sale; blue and white cupcakes had the foundations logo on them, biscuits even had ‘Make a Wish’ stamped into them. The Art Sale on Monday, which showcased the work of local artist Ben Carter, was also a great success and raised an additional 200 euros. Many thanks to everyone who took part to help this heartfelt cause. The total raised was an impressive 1360.23 euros!
