In the lead up to Book Week at St George's, Author Vashti Hardy came to inspire Year 5-6 students. Throughout workshops  students were encouraged to explore fantasy adventure by creating their own fantasy worlds by starting with a map, this gave the students the tools to unlock their imaginations so that they could start to develop their own unique tales of adventure. The students read Vashti's Brightstorm last year, so they were extremely excited and grateful to meet her and hear what inspired her to write her books.
