St George's Summer stage school is back and it's better than ever! This year the Summer stage school had 36 students take on the challenge to put three renditions of the popular musical, Annie to the stage in just five days.

The musical is set in 1930's New York, Annie, a young orphan captures everyone's hearts by her determination to find out what happened to her parents. The orphan is forced to live a life of misery at the cruel Miss Hannigan's orphanage, fortunately with the help of the other orphans Annie manages to escape and finds a new home with Mr Warbucks, Grace Farrell and the adorable dog, Sandy.

Each student should be proud of each their performances, the quality of the acting, the singing, the humour in each of the shows was unique and a joy to watch. Everything from the props to the customs to the work backstage was seamless on the night!
