Year 5 student Hanyi received a third-place medal for his score in the individual rounds of the annual ECIS Maths Quest competition.

Hanyi and his team mates Owen, Tommaso and Zimo secured 10th place overall, which was an incredible feat as the other teams consisted of Year 6 students. The St George's students competed against teams from 25 schools, from 10 countries. The competition had four team question rounds, two team practical challenges, two timed investigations and four individual rounds.
