Students successfully move on to university

St George’s International School is proud to announce an excellent set of examination results despite the challenge of the coronavirus pandemic. All A-level and IGCSE results were teacher-assessed; teachers calculated the final grades based upon the last two years of student work. The School is delighted that all our graduating A-level students received a place at their preferred choice of university. 13 students will be attending a Russell Group university, one of which being the University of Oxford.

A-Level Results

  • 68% of examinations were graded A* or A
  • 99% of examinations were graded A* to C

Our students achieved a 100% pass rate, 46 out of 123 entries achieved the highest grade possible, an A*. 68% entries were graded A* or A, and 99% of our students achieved a grade C or above.

A/S Level Results

  • 76% of examinations graded A/B*
  • 98% of examinations graded A to C

76% of entries were graded A or B, and 98% of examination papers achieved a grade C or above. 82 out of the 131 students taking A/S Levels received the highest grade possible, an A.*

*At A/S there is no A* grade available.

IGCSE Results

  • 65% of examinations graded A*/A
  • 99% of examinations graded A* to C

A total of 393 I/GCSE entries, 64 more than last year, were submitted in 17 different subjects, 99% of students achieved grades A* to C, whilst 65% of all entries were graded A or above. All of our students achieved at least 5 grades from A* to C. These

students will now progress to Year 12 where they will study their chosen A/S level subjects.
