Students achieve excellent exam results

There was much celebration at St George’s International School as Year 11, Year 12 and Year 13 students received their iGCSE, AS Level and A Level examination results. Students were rewarded with well-deserved success.
Director of Key Stage 5, Sarah Roe commented on the Year 13 results: “We are so impressed with how our students have supported each other during their time in Key Stage 5. They should be proud of their achievements and I am delighted that our students in Year 13 have been able to move on to their preferred destinations as a result of the grades they have achieved.”
Acting Secondary Headteacher, Claire Simmonds said: “I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Examination Classes of 2023. Your achievements are a testament to your hard work, determination, and unwavering perseverance. I would also like to recognize and express my gratitude to our dedicated staff who have played an instrumental role in guiding and supporting our students throughout their educational journey."
The Principal Dr Barkei added: “These results and the efforts of the students, staff and families allow them to progress to the next stage of their school or professional career. My thanks go to all involved! Well done!”
A-Level Results
- 57% of examinations were graded A* or A
- 95% of examinations were graded A* to C
A/S Level Results
- 75% of examinations were graded A or B
- 85% of examinations were graded A to C
(*) At A/S there is no A* grade available.
I/GCSE Results
- 41% of examinations were graded 9 or 8
- 96% of examinations were graded 9 to 4
