St George’s Y4-Y6 Basketball club travelled to Itzig to face off in their 3^rd friendly tournament versus the extra-curricular organisation of ‘Hesper beweegt Sech’.

Although our team has trained and put in some extra work to developing our skills individually and collectively as a team we found ourselves on the wrong end of a 32-15 defeat.  The children were upbeat once again after our match and could clearly see areas where we found our rhythm and had great team chemistry compared to the moments where we found ourselves digging in our heels on the defensive end of the court.  Our team goals as defined by our club members remain the same and we will push to improve every week.
