St George's Halloween dress-up day 2014
23 October 2014
The atmosphere at St George’s yesterday was awfully exciting. All the students throughout the school made a fantastic effort dressing up to raise money for the charity Make-A-Wish Luxembourg. Primary students were dressed in their favourite superhero and princess costumes. They were delighted to see the School’s Principal, Dr Barkei get involved by wearing his famous dragon suit.
Secondary students created an eerie vibe with their impressively innovative Halloween costumes. The ‘decorate your own cake’ sale was a great success, the total of all the donations made will be published in the newsletter shortly. We are pleased to announce that the winners for the Halloween dress-up competition in Secondary are: Marco Year 11, Ellen Year 8 and staff members Mrs Michlmayr and Ms Winters.
Thank you to everyone for making the last day before the well-deserved half-term break such an enjoyable one.
