Sixth Form Bonding Trip – Teaching Outside the Classroom

06 October 2015

A couple of weeks ago our Sixth Form students travelled to Echternach for their annual bonding trip. Students gain a great deal of learning experience on these trips, it is also an excellent opportunity for students and staff to get to know one another outside of the classroom. Students worked together in groups doing various activities such as geocaching, indoor rock climbing, and other team building challenges. During the trip the students took advantage of the nice weather and arranged beach volley ball matches.

In the evenings students had the opportunity to bond informally by arranging their own dinner plans in the nearby town.

The last day of the trip saw the student leadership team elections where a new team was voted in. All those in the running for Head boy and Head girl were put through various interviews with Mr Fleet and Mrs Shaw upon their return to school.

Congratulations to the newly elected Head boy and Head girl - Isabella and Ru.

A big thank you goes to all those who took part in this trip, making it an enjoyable learning experience.
