Secondary students attend Humanutopia programme
16 January 2024
Graham Moore from Humanutopia paid a visit to secondary students. Together with his team, they run student programmes designed to enhance the mental health and well-being of all participants. The focus is on empowering individuals to make positive changes in their lives.
Year 9 and 10 had a fantastic day with Graham on Tuesday 9th January. He was truly inspirational and gradually enticed them to leave their comfort zones. They had a great deal of fun whilst also learning about themselves and each other. Students also learned about the difference between circumstances and choices and how the latter is the key to a successful future.
On Wednesday 10th about half of the students volunteered to become ‘Humanutopia Heroes’; these students will continue to spread the message with lower year groups and coach them in the positive ideas behind Humanutopia. It was an incredible experience for all involved and we look forward to seeing what the ‘heroes’ can bring to the wider school environment!
