Primary students receive awards for all their accomplishments

On Monday 6th July, Primary hosted three separate Awards Ceremonies for Primary students and their parents to attend. Primary students gathered around the beautifully decorated school gym eagerly awaiting to be presented with their well-deserved awards for all their accomplishments over the past year.
Year 1-2 received Swimming awards, Year 3-4 received Swimming and Gymnastics awards and Year 5-6 received Swimming, Gymnastic, ISMTF and Reading awards. In addition Special awards also went to students who excelled in particular areas such as Poetry and the Spelling Bee competition. The famous Duxbury cup was presented to the musically talented student, Jacob, the Bellamy Cup was awarded to Yule and the Walker Cup was presented to Tommaso for their overall achievement and progress thoughtout the year.
This year was the first year the Principal, Dr Barkei presented two students from each year group an award for achievement and for progress. Well done to all those students who received these awards, their names will be engraved on the gold plaque in the Reception Area.
Congratulations to each and every student for all their hard work and perseverance throughout the challenging school year!
