Last week the Primary students took part in a moving assembly commemorating the fallen soldiers at the Centenary Anniversary of the end of World War I.

Ashton in Year 3 and Mrs Firth brought in their ceramic poppies from the display at the Tower of London, Lucy read the poem "In Flanders Fields" and Mrs Ni played "The Last Post" signalling the beginning of our two minute silence.

Mrs Wicker and Mrs Tyrrell made a beautiful poppy wreath which we laid at our poppy display in school, together with a wreath from the British Legion. Dr Barkei took our wreath to lay at the Anglican Church in Luxembourg at the service on Sunday.
