Year 8 students showcased their drumming skills by playing in ensembles as part of their unit on rhythm and bucket drumming. The performance was part of their assessment after learning rudimentary drumming skills, note values, and playing together using polyrhythms (playing many different beats simultaneously). Students worked for weeks to write, polish and perform original multi-part beats.
