Ms Pillay reflects on 2025-2026
1 July 2026
Over the year, the Primary section has continued to demonstrate the values that make our school such a special place to learn, grow and belong. From inspiring academic challenges such as Maths Quest to the joy of Book Week, our children have shown curiosity and a genuine love of learning. Visits from celebrated authors, including David Walliams, Sabrina Kauffman and Dany Gales, sparked imaginations, while our young artists proudly showcased their talents during the Art Exhibition week.
The performing arts flourished as Year 1, Year 3 and Year 5 captivated audiences with memorable productions, demonstrating confidence, teamwork and dedication. Our choir proudly represented the school at Young Voices in London, while our footballers embraced the excitement of the Mediterranean Cup in Verona, Italy. Sports Day at Josy Barthel Stadium reminded us that determination, respect and encouragement are as important as winning.
Learning extended far beyond the classroom through residential experiences, innovative competitions such as the Voltmax Solar Design Challenge and enriching visits from inspirational role models, including Luxembourg Women's National Football Team captain Laura Miller. Meanwhile, our youngest learners strengthened the vital partnership between home and school through Nursery Stay and Play sessions, skateboarding classes and the annual Reception Winter Festival.
None of these experiences would have been possible without our exceptional staff team. Their commitment extends far beyond the classroom, ensuring that every pupil feels challenged, supported and valued as an individual. It is their care, creativity and belief in our children that make our Primary school such a vibrant and successful learning community.
As we reflect on another remarkable year, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to our wonderful staff, to our parents for their continued partnership and support, and to our amazing children, whose enthusiasm, kindness and determination inspire us every day. Together, your support has made this another truly memorable year. We wish everyone a safe, restful and happy summer and look forward to welcoming you back in September for another exciting year of learning and success.
