The Merite Jeunesse Silver practice expedition took place from Saturday, 13th April, to Monday, 15th April. Students started in Echternach and hiked to Beaufort on the first day, then onto Gilsdorf on the second day, before finishing near Vianden on the third day. Some students were continuing their Merite Jeunesse journey from bronze, while for other students this was their first expedition.

All students were motivated, determined and demonstrated good navigation, campcraft and teamwork skills. It was a pleasure to see them working together towards a common goal of successfully completing this expedition.

The students are looking forward to the Silver assessed expedition in a new location, around Kautenbach in September.
