LAMDA students receive awards
22 January 2015
During last week’s parent assembly LAMDA drama students received their award certificates for all their hard work. The students gained these qualifications through an after school ‘fun club’ devised by Dramaworks and run by Miss Gillen. Dramaworks recently introduced these performance exams in Luxembourg. The awarding body is the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and they are internationally recognised as a benchmark of vocal and acting ability.
The LAMDA examinations help our students to improve their communications skills, enhance self-confidence and develop their social skills. The students all did exceptionally well, they all achieved merits and distinctions.
A few selected students did an excellent job of performing their exam pieces in front of their teachers, class mates and parents. They captured the audience with their inspiring interpretative skills.
