Graduation Ceremony 2021

On Friday, St George’s International School celebrated the graduation of 39 students of 20 different nationalities. The ceremony was held in the School’s Auditorium, in a formal and friendly fashion allowing graduates, their parents and their teachers to reminisce on their experiences at St George’s.
Mr C Charlton, the Chairman of the Board of Governors opened the ceremony by congratulating the students and passing down his invaluable advice, followed by speeches from St George’s Principal, Dr Barkei, Head of Secondary, Mr Fleet and Ms Palmer, Acting Director of Sixth Form.
The Head boy and Head girl also expressed their thanks to their Teachers and also their appreciation to their classmates.
After a moving ceremony, the Teachers surprised the Year 13 students with a video showing their time throughout St George’s.
St George’s Year 13 students hope to be taking up places at the following universities; University of Warwick, Trinity college, Northeastern, University of Birmingham, University of Hong Kong, McGill University, Nottingham Trent University, University of Edinburgh, The Hague University of applied sciences to name just a few.
St George’s Alumni association will keep the graduates well-informed of developments and progress at the School and they will be invited back to the School to a number of events in the coming years such as the Alumni Christmas Lunch and Annual Summer Fayre.
