Eco-Agents discuss sustainability with minister

22 May 2025

St George's Primary and Secondary Eco-Agents participated in a campus rewilding project, working with UNature to rethink concrete spaces. Year 6 and 7 Eco-Agents worked with architects, landscape planners and a team of nature-based learning specialists to rethink a space in the school.

The students had a multitude of innovative ideas, from turning rainwater collection into a water feature powered by solar power, to reusing and upcycling old table football machines into raised plant beds. The team blended eco-ideas and fun creative ideas, proposing turning an existing brick wall into dual-purpose green wall with moss on one side and a creative graffiti wall on the other.

The workshop finished with the team presenting their ideas on stage in the UNature conference.
