Staff at St George's organised a ‘Christmas in a Shoebox’ project, where children at St George’s decorated and filled a shoebox with christmas presents and essentials to give to a refugee child. There were over 50 shoes boxes that were sent off to the refugee children yesterday - they could barely fit into the car! This was a great project not only will this bring some joy to refugee children at Christmas time but also this made our students learn about refugees, the importance of giving and to appreciate how fortunate they are.
