Camille Bloom in Concert with Secondary Students

St George’s Year 7 and 8 students were very privileged to have Gibson endorsed International Act, Camille Bloom come into school to lead workshops in song writing and literacy. Students spent time experimenting with different musical instruments, working in groups writing songs and singing together. At the end of Ms Bloom’s visit the secondary school hosted a wonderful concert showcasing songs that were learnt during the workshops alongside a performance by Camille Bloom. All funds raised during this event went towards the Arts Scholarship.
St George’s Scholarship for the Arts will benefit students at St George’s who wish to pursue a career in the arts, to attend summer music, art or drama festivals, or who need to purchase professional instruments in order to continue their studies.
Thank you to all those who attended the event, it was a delight to see such a variety of musical talent from all levels of experience.
