On Wednesday 16^th December St George’s welcomed back Alumni and special guests for a sit down Christmas luncheon. The Former students enjoyed the chance to talk to former teachers, classmates and staff. Our honourable Alice Walpole attended her last event with us as British Ambassador, St George’s is proud to call her a friend of the school. To thank Mrs Walpole for her loyalty and commitment, the school donated to her choice of charity ‘Hopes and Homes’, an international charity that works to ensure that all children have the chance to grow up in the love of a family.

A group of our Alumni participated in judging the annual ‘Christmas door frame decoration’ competition while others took part in our Christmas quiz. The whole event was topped off by the Secondary Christmas market where there were stalls selling goodies, games for everyone and live music by the school’s band ‘George and the Dragon’. The band was delighted to welcome back a former ‘dragon’ member and alumni to perform especially for the event!
