AI Presentation for Year 4 Students
27 September 202
In June Year 4 had the opportunity to listen to an expert Gergely Koevesd talk on Artificial Intelligence. He is a member of the AI Task Force at the Energy DG of the European Commission and previously worked on machine learning projects at Eurostat. The Year 4 students and teachers were highly interested in the topic and made some valuable contributions to the discussion. Gergely shared some slides with us during the presentation which we have added below. It was an enlightening experience for everyone involved, and we appreciate Gergely taking the time to speak with us. Gergely has sent us an example below of how he has used chatGPT an Artificial Intelligence tool to create a draft for our newsletter.

We are analysing how these tools can be integrated to the education experience that enhance the learning experience, while preserving the values of integrity and honesty.
Last June the classes of Year 4 had the opportunity to listen to an expert talk in Artificial Intelligence. This year we are performing consultations with other schools, education experts, and AI professionals to find the right way to integrate AI into our curriculum and to encourage their responsible use. On a lighter note, let's quote the poem of ChatGPT about St George's:
