Bronwen Vaughan

Bronwen Vaughan graduated from St George's in 2017...

After finishing school at St George’s I decided to take a gap year to do some travelling and figure out exactly what I wanted to do and to decide if university was the right next step for me. I went on to study illustration at Plymouth University where I was awarded a first-class degree with honours.

Since graduating I have been working as a freelance illustrator taking on mainly environmental and conservation-focused projects. I am passionate about the environment and conservation, and I believe illustration can be an amazing tool to convey and communicate scientific information to the general public in a more digestible way. I currently am also working at a brunch restaurant which I really enjoy.

My highlights since leaving school are definitely graduating university as it was a really proud moment for me, as well as having had the opportunity to travel to some amazing places with my friends, my favourite definitely being Zimbabwe last summer.

You can see some of my work on my website: bronwenvaughan.co.uk

Through my illustration work I aim to educate children and adults on endangered species in the UK and the rest of the world.
