St George's Year 12 and 13 students recently took part in the Senior Mathematical Challenge; a 90 minute paper that tests problem solving and logic skills.
Over 100,000 students from schools across the UK and internationally returned scripts for the Challenge with the top 60% of candidates receiving certificates. The top 10% were awarded a gold certificate, the next 20% silver and the next 30% bronze certificates.
From St George’s 17 students were successful in achieving certificates. Congratulations to Sasha (best in school), Hannah and Julie, gold certificate winners, also to Edward, Matthew, Alistair and Cormac, silver certificate winners, and Nathan, Oliver, Charlie, Jacqueline, Clara, Yi-hua, Ann-Jasmine, Nina, Alexios and Ivan, bronze certificate winners.
