St George's News
Find out what's happening at St George's!
I hope you have been able to relax a little during these last two weeks and to take some time for yourselves and your families. We appreciate all the efforts that everyone has made over the last weeks to keep virtual learning a success, both from a family and school perspective. As you know, we will start the virtual learning programme again in both Primary and Secondary on Monday 20th April.
We have now received some initial information regarding the prospective physical re-opening of schools in Luxembourg and we will try to obtain further information from the Ministry of Education next week. Once we are certain of the details of these new amended operations we will share this with all families and staff in good time to ensure a smooth operation of the school for the summer term. Please note that this may include an amended date for the summer half-term. It will also mean unfortunately that we will need to cancel or postpone our large traditional events at school we had planned during this time.
We will aim in all circumstances to keep all members of our community – staff, students and parents – safe and healthy in what is going to be for the rest of the school year a somewhat changed learning and working environment. Please bear with us as we work with our colleagues to allow the school community to come together again in these new circumstances.
With my best regards,
