Media Studies Students continue to be busy offsite
Posted 17/03/2020 12:20
Media students were busy before the School closure racking up recordings for their monthly B122 Show on Radio Ara (every 4th Wednesday from 4-5pm). Thanks to the students' efforts they have banked enough material for at least five full shows, with the usual diverse range of music made even more eclectic with the Year 10 work on the new regular feature, 'Musical Memories'. A variety of Secondary teachers have been interviewed about what they listened to back in their school days and their more recent musical memories - if you ever wanted to hear a live rendition of the Belgian smurfs, this is your chance...!
Meantime, the AS students have been busy using specialist make-up to create some highly detailed zombie looks. A2 student Harriet has been deploying colour co-ordinated croquet players in her rather weather-sensitive set (see below)! Fans of cult 80's movie 'Heathers' might detect one of the influences there, alongside more recent music videos from veteran Indie act 'The Pixies' and more recent two-woman band 'Honeyblood'. Editing of all of these productions continues off-site! So be sure to tune into the next B122 Show on Wednesday 25th March, 4-5pm on Radio Ara or available to stream online.
