This year students in Years 8 and 7 took part in the Junior Mathematical Challenge; a 60 minute paper that tests problem solving and logic skills. Over 250 000 pupils from schools across the UK and internationally returned scripts for the Challenge with the top 6% receiving a gold certificate, the next 13% silver and the next 21% bronze. From St George’s 35 students were successful in achieving certificates.

Congratulations to gold certificate winners Noe T, Alexander R, Joseph B, Elsa H, Stefan B, Annabel R, Simon H, Anastasia S and Pietro G. Also congratulations to silver certificate winners Julian De R, Ana P, Mathilda M, Maghnus O’D, Ethan S, Liam S, Clara D, Albert Y, Luke F, Aislinn H, Sebastian R and Finn S. And well done to bronze certificate winners Roni R, Katia N, Naomi H, Pietro A, Jermy H, Morgan Csarno-Peklar, Lola M, Clodagh M, Alexander W, Alexandros K, Angelina D, Maxime C, Hannah H and Naomi T.
