St George's International School is a caring international school that provides an outstanding education in English for approximately 850 students of over 70 nationalities aged 3 to 18+. We pride ourselves on enabling each student to achieve their full potential.

A word from Dr Barkei

We are always interested to hear from teachers who would like to develop their career at St George’s. Although we may not have any immediate vacancies available, we do positively encourage applications from internationally-minded teachers throughout the year. Applications we receive are held and if a vacancy arises we will promptly contact suitable applicants for interview.

Our website is a good point to start in discovering the ethos, spirit and approach of St George’s. It will also give you a good idea of life in Luxembourg and the many opportunities living in the Grand Duchy offers to new arrivals.

Our teachers are professional and committed who positively enjoy working with the students in our care. As a community of professionals we are always looking to offer the very best to our students and to allow them to achieve their full potential. We do this through consistent challenge and care for them as individuals throughout their time at our School.

Safeguarding and Promoting the Welfare of Children and Young People

All employees will be required to be security cleared, which may take the form of an extract of Luxembourg “casier judiciaire” and/or an International Child Protection Certificate (ICPC). Our policy is also to actively seek confidential references including one from the last employer.

The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post. This will include checks with past employers and criminal records checks from countries lived, studied or worked in.
