Teachers and staff have been busy preparing to welcome students back to St George’s for the first day of school on Monday.
Classrooms have been scrubbed, painted and newly decorated, and timetables have been scheduled.
During the week, Primary Teachers attended talks by Monica Neagoy on the beauty of mathematics and Sue McGonigle on book-based learning, while Secondary Teachers broke into key stage groups for specialised sessions.
Admin staff have been ensuring all paperwork and procedures are in order, including recognising staff who have celebrated milestone anniversaries at St George’s, and the caretakers have not stopped in their efforts to get the school in tip-top condition.
Everyone is excited and can’t wait to welcome back all 850 students on Monday!
