Year 9s learn about science contest

  • Secondary News

Year 9 classes attended a virtual information session about the National Jonk Fuerscher Contest 2022.

The contest, which has been running for 51 years, offers young science enthusiasts the opportunity to present their work to the Luxembourg public in an internationally recognised competition, which further enables them to participate in prestigious competitions abroad.

During the presentation, students had the opportunity to ask last year's winner Max G (Year 12) about his experience of taking part.

The competition is open to all students in Secondary, between the ages of 11 of 21, who want to create a project within the fields of natural, human or social sciences, technology or research. Students can participate individually or in teams of up to three people.

Students who are interested in participating or finding out more can contact Mrs van Dongen.
