Year 9 students lend a hand to Le Courage

The Y9 students have joined many other schools and associations who have lent a hand to Le Courage and its customers by taking part in a Disco Soup and donating hygiene products. ​

Bistrot Social "Le Courage" is a service of Caritas Accueil et Solidarité approved by the City of Luxembourg. ​

It is a safe place for those who have nowhere else to go, an establishment which wants above all to guarantee security and the option to relax for homeless people. All adults are accepted as they are. It is a place that fights against loneliness and exclusion. ​

They offers the following services ​

  • The facilities to take a shower ​

  • Washing machine and dryers ​

  • Lockers to keep their personal belongings safe ​

  • Food – Sandwiches during the day and soup in the evening ​

  • A small rest area where they can take a nap ​

  • The option to get social help or collaborate with the streetworkers. ​

  • Legal aid from the Homeless rights project​

Please Help us support Le Courage​
by donating new unopened toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes etc)​
- please bring them to L121 (Mrs Bolhuis Room for collection by 29 Nov.)
